The Leopards returned home as they faced New Road Blues for the first of back-to-back meetings.

The hosts were missing Paul, Callum, Joseph & Benni.

The Leopards started strongly and took an early lead as Phillip latched onto Ben’s ball in behind, coolly rounded the keeper and slid into the empty net.

But New Road bounced back with a quick fire double, firstly a header from a long throw then latching onto a long ball forward and slotting past Tommy.

Following a drinks break the Leopards hit back with 2 quick fire goals of their own. Firstly David flicked on Tommy’s kick forward, putting Phillip through on goal. He coolly slotted his effort past the keeper.

Then Tommy fizzed a ball down the left wing, Phillip latched onto it and drove inside before guiding inside the far post.

The visitors then replied with 3 goals before the drinks break to go into the break (despite the ref not stopping his watch) ahead.

And with the last kick of the game, the Leopards grabbed an equaliser, Ben’s inviting free kick was headed home at the far post by Peter. The ref the blew the whistle with just 43:44 on the clock?!

More sloppy goals given away and dropped points against an under strength team.
But we managed to snatch a point at the end, despite not playing 45 in the Second Half!
