The Leopards travelled to face old friends Sheppey United for the last ever time, looking to avenge their last gasp draw in their last meeting.
The visitors were at full strength while the hosts only had a bare 11, on the Sheppey first team pitch.
The Leopards started brightly and were moving the ball well on the pristine 4G surface.
But it took them 32 minutes to open the scoring as David broke through the midfield, then thread the ball into the path of Paul who took a touch before smashing past the keeper at the near post.
Eight minutes later the Leopards doubled their advantage as Paul & David combined once more, as Paul played David in on the inside left channel he got to the byline and his low cross was bundled over the line by a defender.
The back 3 of Josh, Peter, Brick & Joseph were defending strongly when Sheppey broke forward.
Into the Second Half and the boys were told the next goal was key, and they needed to continue to keep the intensity high throughout the half.
Within 10 minutes they had extended their lead to 4. Firstly Callum (in a genius move playing as a CAM), picked up a loose ball halfway inside the Sheppey, got the ball out of his feet then unleashed an absolute rocket into the top left hand corner. BOSH!
Then, 5 minutes later, Joe picked up on another loose ball just outside the Sheppey box. He took a touch and smashed a powerful effort inside the near post.
Then the Leopards were temporarily reduced to 10 men as Callum was harshly sinbinned for asking if the ref was watching?!
But that didn’t stop the Leopards as they added a fifth from Joe dangerous corner, the ball bounced up in front of Peter who nodded in from close range.
Then Phillip added his name to the scoresheet as he picked the ball up just over halfway, ghosted past 3 defenders before coolly slotting past the keeper.
Just after the Leopards were restored to full strength, they soon added number 7 as Benni broke down the right and then unselfishly squared across to Luke who swept home from close range for his first goal of the season.
Then the Leopards were denied a goal of the season, as Brick won the ball on halfway, went outside one player, then another, inside another and just as he was about to slot home Benni did everyone a favour and took the ball off him!!! lol
Phillip then added his second as Benni did superbly on the left, squared to Zach on the edge of the box who found Phillip on the overlap who slotted past the keeper.
Into Injury Time, Benni was in generous mood again as he cut in from the left and squared to Luke who slotted home from 10 yards to add number 9.
