In tough conditions, (and Connors lost car key) driving rain and a pitch that cut up and grew worse during the game, the Leopards fell behind after a mix up in defence with 2 boys going for the same ball. It was scrambled out and bounced around the midfield before a shot was fired in just past Tommys right outstretched right hand.
Leopards drew level when a long ball from a free kick from Peter just outside our box was patted down by the Omega keeper and excellently followed in for Paul to nod home from close range.
The Leopards only needed another four minutes to take the lead, when a Benni shot was again mishandled by their keeper, and smashed into the centre of the goal by Jack.
Although Omega looked dangerous going forward, the defence held strong for the remainder of the first half.
Into the second half and Omega drew level with another long range effort, that skidded off the surface and just out of reach for Tommy.
Omega then took the lead, when Brick was adjudged to have fouled their lively forward right in the corner of the box. The resulting free kick took a flick off a head and just over Tommys head.
The Leopards continued to play some excellent football on the very boggy pitch and twice came close to equalising when 2 identical balls went out across the face of goal, just missing the on rushing, Paul then Benni at the far post.
A change of formation to 3-4-3 had Ongea on the back foot and the Leopards got a deserved equaliser, from a brilliant 35 yard Ben free kick that no one would have saved, as it nestled into the far top right corner.
Onto the 90th minute and after Zach put the ball in from the right, Phillip expertly flicked it into the path of Benni’s long legs, for him to poke home.
There was still time for one more from Benni, as he smashed home expertly, from David’s corner.

Coaches (Jamie) Thoughts
Some excellent football played in a completely dominate midfield help by excellent defending and some very good hold up play up front. We showed yet again we DONT ever give up.
