The Leopards returned to Meopham for the second game on the bounce as they faced Meopham Reds.
With Joe wasting his time watching Spurs, the Leopards had Callum returning to the squad.
The visitors started strongly and had a couple of chances, firstly Paul rounded the keeper from Luke’s flick on, but his effort from a tight angle rolled wide of the far post.
Then the hosts started to grow into the game and took the lead as Phillip was adjudged to have handled on the edge of the box. The Meopham defender sent Tommy the wrong way to give them the lead.
Paul then had another opportunity as Connor’s attempted through ball was blocked, David helped the ball into Paul’s path. His shot cannoned back off the far post and just out of Luke’s reach following in.
Into the Second Half and the boys were told to be patient and keep moving the ball and the chances of would come.
While the Leopards had most of the possession, Meopham looked dangerous on the break and the back 3 of Josh, Peter, Brick & Joseph had to defend well to contain the dangerous Meopham forwards.
The visitors got their equaliser, just after Jack was moved out to the left flank, and it was him who levelled. As Benni did well to find him inside the box, he cut inside and tucked inside the near post.
The Leopards now had the momentum and they soon went ahead as Paul played a lovely ball into space for Phillip to chase. He turned the defender one way then the other, before chopping back onto his left foot and rolling past the advancing keeper.
But the hosts kept fighting and the Leopards were indebted to Tommy for preserving their advantage as a curling effort from the edge of the box was heading for the top corner, but Super Balls came flying across and tipped it over the bar.
The Leopards then put the result out of doubt in the closing minutes as Callum played a delicious through ball into Benni’s path, and he squared it for Phillip to tap home at the far post.

It took us over 70 minutes to get our goals, but we did and managed to get 3 to win the game.
The boys were patient Second Half and kept moving the ball until the chances came.
