The u16s Leopards lifted the John Leeds Trophy as they defeated Omega 5-1.
Peter Oni opened the scoring after 5 minutes from a well rehearsed Ollie Morris flag kick.
The Leopards doubled their lead 3 minutes later as Phillip Oni flew down the wing and his inviting cross was headed home by Luke Stewart with a thumping header.
And after 10 minutes it was 3 as Zach Mitchell found Ollie Morris in midfield he danced past 2 tackles then drilled home left footed from outside the box.
Number 4 came after 31 minutes as Callum Cotter’s delicious free kick was volleyed home by Ollie Morris.
Before half time, Omega pulled a goal back as the ball was only half cleared and their midfielder sent a powerful shot past Ollie May that he nearly kept out.
The Second Half was a scrappy affair and the Leopards put the game to bed with 4 minutes to go as Paul Oni’s superb cross from the left found Callum Cotter 6 yards out and he cushioned his volley into the empty net.
An excellent performance from the Leopards and a first piece of silverware!
