u14s Panthers Crowned Division 1 Champions

Our u14s were crowned the Medway League Division 1 Champions as they defeated closest rivals Wigmore Whippets 5-1.

Starting the game 3 points ahead of Wigmore, the Panthers just needed just a point to secure the title.

The game started nervously but with the Panthers pushing hard for a goal after the initial few minutes and won a contentious penalty for handball to break the deadlock.

The Panthers continued to apply pressure and added netted twice more to take a 3 goal advantage into the break.

Wigmore started a fight back in the second half nicking a goal from a corner, but the boys rallied and put 2 more in to make it 5-1 and a dominant victory to win the league.

Wigmore had already beaten the Panthers twice, having knocked them out of the cup and competing for the league title which made the result even better!
