Saturday Soccer School [26 May @ 10:00pm]

Tunbury School, Walderslade. Saturdays from 9:30am.
ALL CHILDREN WELCOME FROM SCHOOL RECEPTION CLASS AND YEAR 1 & 2.
Bring both studs and astro turf type trainers to each session.
Players must wear shin pads to all sessions.
All players to bring a shower proof jacket, woolly hat and gloves in winter.
Bring a large drink, not fizzy to every session, more in warm weather.
Do not leave your child without registering them first.

RECEPTION CLASS SESSIONS 1 HOUR DURATION.
This is an introduction to football. We will show the children the basic skills of football. Basic skills include ball control, passing and shooting. We will achieve this by using lots of games that are fun for the children as well as being educational about football and great for their health and fitness. These games also help with the co-ordination and help the children gain confidence by mixing with other children.

YEAR 1 & 2 SESSIONS 1 HOUR 30 MINS DURATION. 
These sessions are designed to progress the children onto the next stage.
Learning turns and techniques to beat opponents.
Comfortably retain possession of the football in match situations. Defending techniques.
Co-ordination drills.
Improve general levels of fitness.
Learnt to play as a team.
We will also introduce them to 6-a-side matches then begin the process of preparing them for 11-a-side football, which they will learn within the structure of 6-a-side football at under 7's, 8's, 9's and 10's. All the above will be carried out within the guidelines laid down by the Football Association.

ALL AGE GROUPS WILL BE COACHED AND RUN BY COACHES WHO QUALIFY UNDER THE FA CHARTER STANDARDS AND ARE CRB POLICE CHECKED.
